3D modeling of classic furniture for interior design
Within a project ofinterior visualizationThis classic side table was designed as a support piece, maintaining the same level of detail and aesthetic coherence as the rest of the furnishings in the space.
The model was entirely created inBlender + Cycles, with a focus centered on theprecision of proportionsand the reading of materials in context. Although it was not a product design project, attention was paid to the details of moldings, hardware, and metal embellishments to ensure their realistic integration into the final environment.
The base material combineswood with natural grain, aged metal and a top ofveined white marble, using a flowPBRto achieve a coherent lighting response with the overall scene.
In this case, the objective was to accurately represent the piece within the ensemble, so the texturing was resolved directly in Blender. If the piece had been the focal point of the project, it would have been worked on.Substance Painterto add micro-wear, tonal variations, and signs of use, achieving a level of realism characteristic of product visualization.
This type of complementary pieces is key in the creation ofinterior design rendersthat convey coherence, atmosphere, and plausible materials, contributing to a more immersive and credible final result.
